Stovetop Simmer

These packages are filled with apples and oranges I cut and dried myself. There are cardamom seeds, whole nutmeg, star anise, cloves, cinnamon sticks, dried cranberries. There may be some variety per package.  These are an all natural way to scent your home.

Put the contents into a pot on the stove and simmer to release the natural fragrance. You can add water and continue to simmer away until the scent is gone.  There are no preservatives so there is a risk of spoiling once they are added to water. Don’t leave unattended on the stove.
